Olympic Competition Not Hot Enough? Sweat It Out at the Sauna World Championship

Wins World Sauna Championship

Here's a tip: If a Finnish guy bets you he can outlast you in a sauna, don't be a chump.

In Finland, saunas outnumber cars, and they've dominated the Sauna World Championship since its inception, ten years ago. This year, 160 competitors from 23 countries sweated it out, and the outcome was hardly surprising.

"It wasn't fun after two or three minutes," Bjarne Hermansson told Reuters, after taking the title, lasting 18 minutes and 16 seconds in a sauna that reached 230 degrees Fahrenheit.

As Paris Hilton says, "That's hot." And wouldn't it be fun to put her in a 230-degree roaster and watch her plastic surgery discombobulate?
